Description: From a WW2 Veteran Estate Sale. We will be posting multiple items for Collectors. WW2 German Wehrmacht Voigtlander 6 x 30 power Binoculars with Leather Case, Strichtplatte, straps, and lens cover. The Binoculars are in EXTREMELY GOOD condition! The binocular metal casing has most of its original finish, the lens are unscratched, and the strichtplatte is easy to remove and secure when attached. All focus, range, and size adjustments are fully functional, and the optics are 100% in alignment! Although we could not find a ddx stamp, it has individual eye focus adjustments which is military. The serial number suggests these binoculars were from the later part of the war (which aligns with the owner's history). The left side is marked with Voigtlander. The right side is marked Deinstglas, 6x30, 43672 (the serial number), and H/6400 (which means it has a strichtplatte). The original leather case, lens protector, and straps are in very good condition. The case does show wear (see photos) but the leather is soft and the closing clasp is secure and functional. Included is the original lens cover plate with leather strap attachments. For historical purposes, the Veteran who owned and used this item was in the 4th Armored Division which played a key role in the Battle of the Bulge and supported the encircled US forces in Bastogne, Belgium.
