Description: Striking and very large WW1 trench watch in excellent working condition. Diameter 38.5mm without the crown. Trench watches this large are hard to find. Porcelain enamel dial with just a small chip outside the visible area. Original hands. Original pumpkin crown. Jewelled lever movement in good working order. Sturdy two piece case with screw down bezel, closing tight. Nickel bezel (German silver) and nickel plated brass body with light wear. Unusual rear mounted lugs. This is an early design of Swiss trench watch. Fully serviced and guaranteed to be keeping good time. I make my own straps from good English leather which are very comfortable.
