It is usually the Nephrite jade type and is a lovely stone featuring soft, milky creams and whites with hints of grey and butter yellow. White Jade beads are created either with natural jade rough, or lower grades of Nephrite that has been formed, cut, polished and then heat treated and/or dyed. It's a gorgeous stone that can be used in many jewelry designs, craft projects, fine jewelry creations and more.
