Description: VINTAGE EXTRA-LARGE W. S. CHIANG OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS SIGNEDORIGINAL JUNK BOAT ON WATER 40” x 24” I’mproudly offering for your consideration an extra-large vintage signed W. S. Chiang original oil painting on canvas. Thisbeauty features striking colors highlighting the textured oil painting thatportrays two Chinese Junk Boat. Thepainting is done in a style that uses a build-up of paint in area, so itappears 3-dimensional and makes the colors pop. From my research I found the following: "W. S. Chiang was born in Shanghai in 1933. A graduate of the National ArtInstitute of China, he has gained acclaim for successfully blending thesimplicity and delicacy of traditional Oriental painting with the use of shadowand light in Occidental art. Since the 1970's his work has been collected inthe United States as well as gaining recognition in his homeland. Canvas is 12"x 9" unframed to15" x 11."W.S. Chiang was born in Shanghai in 1933.
