Looking for a short sleeved flamed button down bowling shirt to pair with your roller blades, Thrasher tee, and JNCOs? Look no further. From G. D. Designs circa 1999, this turn of the century staple is definitively Y2K Skater core. Predominantly black, and featuring not only graphic flames licking the cuffs and hem, but a tribal design on the front and back as well. A design that many upper classmen had tattooed between their shoulder blades, around their bicep, or on the lower back. The Cuban collar lapel is indicative of most bowling shirts, as are the 5 black buttons that run the length of the shirt, all of which are in tact and original. 100% polyester and machine washable. This is labeled as a youth Large, or a 14-16. I would say it would fit like a men's small. Ladies could fit up to a medium when buttoned. A women's large could fit, as seen in the last image, if left unbuttoned. The length does run on the shorter side, so if you're below 5'4", it should hit directly at the waist. Taller than that, and we enter cropped length territory. But this is a personal opinion. The person in the last image was a women's 12/14, Large, and 5'4, for reference. Measurements are as follows: * sleeve opening: 8.5" * shoulder seam to arm hem: 8 3/4" * armpit seam to shirt hem: 14" * shirt opening: 20" * shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 18" * top button to shirt hem: 19.5" * collar when standing: 3" We examine each vintage piece very carefully before listing. So no matter how small, a flaw is still a flaw, and we believe in full and total disclosure. In keeping with our full transparency ideals, we did note a small place on the back side of the left arm where the stitching has begun to separate. However, it's not particularly noticeable unless you're actively looking for it. This duress is likely due to the age of the garment, as it's nearly 25 years old. Apart from that, this piece is in great vintage condition, and is free from stains, rips, holes, tears, snags, or weird smells.
