The clear plastic face covering has no significant scratches, a rarity in mechanical clocks of this vintage. I tested this clock and it is fully functioning. I can attest to the fact that this alarm clock will wake you up as the alarm is quite loud! It measures 5-1/2" from top to bottom, 5-1/4" from side to side and 3-1/2" at its deepest point. The clock face is marked "Caravelle". I can just picture this vintage clock looking ever so cool on a 60s style nightstand, mid century mod living room bookshelf or retro hip styled home office desk top.
