Description: Offered is a Vintage Fuhrmann Schmidt Pilsner Beer Bottle. Although not marked as such, I believe this beer bottle to be a quart bottle. The paper label has some wear and a larger tear on the upper right corner, but it does not compromise the label information. (See pics). It reads "Fuhrmann Schmidt Pilsner Beer, Brewed and Bottled by Fuhrmann & Schmidt Brewing Co., Shamokin, PA, c. 1940." "New York Sales Office, New York." The actual brown bottle is in excellent condition and is embossed with "NOT TO BE REFILLED, NO DEPOSIT- NO REUTRN." The original rustymetal cap is present and attached to the bottle top. The bottle measures about 9 7/8" tall. a wonderful, vintage antique Fuhrmann Schmidt Beer Bottle to add to your collection.
