Description: Fantastic “retired” Woodstock Rd. sign. This seems to be an original New York sign with the older crackled side showing Beresford Ave which my research shows is on Staten Island, N. Y. I believe that New York was reusing their old signs by placing the new location on the previously unused side of the sign. The sign is encased on 2 sides with a vintage Tassca Tomcat holder which states Newark, NJ and pat pending. The sign dimensions are 21 7/8” x 4” while the encased sign with trapezoid holder is 24” on top and 23 1/8’ at the bottom and 5 7/8” top to bottom. The holes are @ 7/8” dia.
