Description: When I got this, it had a couple of coats of paint on it and was froze up. I stripped all the old paint and put on a new coat. The inside, I cleaned and degreased everything and lubed. All parts are original and in nice condition. All castings are solid with no cracks. This works very smooth now. The bare metal I cleaned with a brass brush. I did not sand, grind or fill in any of it's battle scars. They still remain. Overall a nice vise. The date on it is 12/30/65
