Inside faces of blades show the fine scratches and graying typical of old scissors, yet exterior chrome is bright and lustrous, and the black enamel on handles remains largely intact (see photos). Scissors weigh almost 10 ounces, and readily cut through all 10 pages of election newsprint shown in the pictures. Plus, they make that great scissory sound!
