Description: I am selling a nice and vintage Vietnam War period Camillus Jet Pilot Survival Knife with a 5" blade made between 1962 and 1966. These first knives were stamped with the brand CAMILLUS N.Y. on the left ricasso and nothing else.(After that year, from 1967 onwards, the brand and the date of manufacture was stamped on the pommel.) This particular knife was assigned to the Navy, because there is a light paint (pale blue or grey) over the back of the pommel. The sheath is in good condition and I found a number stamped on the leather close to the stone pouch cover that reads 1944, but not sure what that means, and comes with a gray sharpening stone, and a couple of leather cords. The keeper looks like it was replaced at some point. This knife has an excellent edge. The blade lost part of the black finish but it is not rusted. The complete knife is tight. As is, no returns.
