Will show some wear, signs of use, minor marks, may have minor stains may have that classic military surplus smell, leather bottom and lumbar pad are heavy and stiff but both are fully functional and in very good shape. These have stood the test of time from the 1980's until now and will hold up over the next 50 years as well. The first one is dated 1984 and the second one is dated 1983. Description:These military issue Swiss backpacks come in very good used condition. Measuring in at 20" x 20" x 6". They're generous enough in size to exceed the needs of a typical day pack. They have a built in sturdy double metal frame bars and a heavy leather lumbar pad allow for heavy carrying capacity as well. Heavy rubberized vinyl construction with a thick leather bottom and leather straps. This would make for a great backpacking or bug out bag. Note that the second one pictured is missing the Leather side gear attachment straps and shows it's age a bit more. I will ship out the nicer one first and discount the other one by $10.00 after the first one sells.
