I'd like to point out that there is text stamped on the back that is difficult to read. With a magnifying glass I made out the following. "Muth, Buffalo, N.Y., Pat. Pending, 1940." This of course dates the opener to pre-WWII ! As you can see from the pictures, the opener is in nice, but not perfect condition. It is used, no doubt. But there is also "no doubt" that it is still very attractive and sure to draw attention. It is an iconic opener for sure! The bottle opener measures a bit over 4" tall and is about 1" wide at the widest point. The pictures were taken outside on a sunny day.
