Description: Vintage or antique CARVED WOOD ASIAN MIRROR w/dragon birds elephants Thailand? Offered for auction is this wonderful vintage or antique hand-carved exotic hardwood framed mirror in the Chinese export style that I believe came from Thailand because of the elephants incorporated into the design. It came from the estate of a wealthy French gentleman and has some notes in paper on the reverse with a 1953 date, possibly noting when it was purchased or reglazed (see photos.) The wood is very hard, very dense, and very heavy. Dimensions are 16-1/2" wide x 20-1/2" tall x 1-5/8" thick, and the mirror opening is 9" x 12-5/8". Weight is about 12 lbs. The wood frame is in very good condition with a few small chips and cracks to the wood. The silver on the mirror does have a little bit of spotting but still looks good. A nice addition to any wall or collection. Shipping will be via USPS or Fedex Ground. International buyers are responsible for all customs fees and V.A.T.s. I DO NOT falsify customs forms with a lower price. I am an EXPERT packer and always pack well, and I DO NOT charge for "handling" or packing materials. GOOD LUCK and THANKS FOR LOOKING! Photos shown above are of the actual mirror the buyer will be getting.
