Description: Vintage Modernist 1940's Watercolor Original Painting Eulalie Hunt Allen 1919-1989 was a very talented artist. She attended the College of Industrial Art in Denton, (Texas Women's University) where she studied under Coreen Spellman.. She graduated on June 1st,1940, and on June 2nd she married Edward S. Allen. Later she became an art teacher at William James Jr. High, and at Amon Carter-Riverside High School. Eulalie was a member of the Texas Art Association, and did several exhibition and conferences with them. I sold several of Eulalie's pieces to David Lackey Antiques and Fine Art, several pieces were sold at auction, where James Baker from Texas A & M (Art History) bought a piece of her work.
