Vintage Large Doll Wedding Dress Fairy Land Toy Prod FOR RESTORATION & REPAIRS

Description: NOTE: I'm hopeful a doll repair person will be willing/able to restore her. She's priced very low, but the buyer will pay for shipping (she weighs about 4 pounds total to ship). The doll itself is intact and in good condition considering her age (1950s). Her clothing, however, has a few spots and is quite fragile. The petticoat is stiff and the hem edge shows several rust stains. (Apparently a thin metal wire was sewn into the fabric to hold the petticoat and dress in one position.) The flower accents are missing some petals, and the ribbons all need to be ironed. I have not removed or tried to fix any of the clothes, shoes or socks. THE GOOD NEWS:The doll has always been stored in a home with heat and a/c, never outside. All limbs are attached, and can be moved (carefully).The doll's face is beautiful; very little, if any, loss of color; eyes open and close.Doll's head moves when limbs are moved; very few blemishes anywhere on the body.No fingers are missing; hair appears to be in good shape.Please Note: The name, Fairy Land Toy Prod., is on the bottom of her shoes. I could find no other brand name actually on the doll. THE BAD NEWS:Her gown is intact, but has aged considerably. See comments above about her clothing; see photos 7, 9, 12 & 14, which show some discolorations and rust along the bottom edge of her petticoat.
