This stunning handcrafted treasure ship, known as a Takarabune is symbolic of good luck & prosperity, pictures of them help form part of traditional Japanese New Year celebrations. It is highly intricate, made by hand with treasures such as gold gilded rice bales, lucky mallets, coral & more rolling on the waves of the sea. Unfortunately the mast of the boat has a slight bend, please study the images.
