Description: Vintage - HOWDY DOODY and MR. PHINEAS T. BLUSTER HAND PUPPETS, 1949-1952. These two original characters appeared in the Howdy Doody TV show which ran from 1949 - 1952 hosted by Bob Smith. Vinyl heads and bodies and hands intact. Howdy measures approximately 9" long; Mr. Bluster measures approximately 8" long. Some paint loss to both heads. Mr. Bluster's head is somewhat sticky (as if it was treated to retain its flexibility; needs a little TLC). Howdy marked - "(c) Bob Smith". Very Good Condition! Items are pre-owned.
