The item is vintage and it is looks like it may be Haitian in origin to me (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the artist). The painting is not signed as far as I can see, but I have not taken it out of the frame and checks the back or the portion under the matting for a signature (see photos). The painting framed in total measures about 11 and 3/4ths inches high and 1 foot 4 and 1/2 inches wide. The painting portion not including the picture frame or the matting measures about 8 inches high and it is about 1 foot 1 and 1/2 inches wide. The picture frame and matting have some wear and it is dusty from being in storage. The painting has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
