Description: This is a fine quality H.N.White cornet King Master model. The serial number 192xxx indicates it was made in 1937-38, meaning my late father got it when he was a teenager. He was an accomplished player and entertained us many evenings. Sadly, I don't have the talent. The instrument has been professionally cleaned (in January) and is ready to be played. Vales and slides work easily. It is a medium bore. The original case has not been restored. The set also includes the mouthpiece, a Shastock straight mute, and a music holder. I don't know the age ot the mute, but it has a heavy plastic body and wooden base, with good cork.
