It has a woolen cord on the top for hanging.I got this bamboo scroll paintings in the mid-1980's during my visit to China. You'll notice the paintings are done on fine bamboo strands - not like most similar wall hanging scrolls you find. It have been stored for the past few decades and not exposed to light.The framed painting is about 7 1/8" tall and 5 1/8" wide. See pictures.The photos are of the actual item.
