Description: VINTAGE FRENCH WOMAN Composition Head Jointed FOLK ART SOUVENIR 9" CLOTH DOLL A very nice French Doll that was handmade and dressed in the traditional style of the past. This doll has a composition shoulder/head and a firmly stuffed cloth body with jointed arms and legs. She has very pretty brown hair done in braids with bows, a lovely lace hat, a tradition dress of the past, underwear, and a slip. She only wears one red boot because the other one is missing. She was probably made as a souvenir of France. This doll measures approximately 9" tall. Her condition is good but not without flaws... She has a small area of composition missing on her neck that is not noticeable because her bonnet ties there (I can't take her clothes off because they are sewn on, so I don't know if there are more spots on her shoulder plate, see photo), she is missing one of her red boots, one of the circles from her red vest, she has age discoloration and is very soiled. Her clothes look good but are very soiled (I don't know if they will clean up). Despite a few flaws, this doll will still display nicely in any collection. High bidder to pay all shipping costs.
