Circa 1930-40 gold plated brass, dimensional makeup powder compact with the original, fitted loose powder sieve in fabulous vintage condition for you consideration. The glass mirror has only a few small and not-too noticeable blemishes and throws a clear view There are no dings or dents! There is a mark across the nose of the compact I’m not sure if it can clean off. I only just used a cleaning cloth and wiped off. It opens and closes perfectly and securely. The “Elizabeth Arden New York” and “ Made in USA” branding is imprinted on the bottom. There is light surface scratching mostly on the top commensurate with age. It looks lovely in person! The nose is raised and the eyes have a black shiny plastic-looking material below the slits that give them depth and an aura of mystique…a true goth, Batman-feeling! Simply FABULOUS! You can still smell the automatic of powder in the box. 3” x 1 5/8”
