Description: Vintage Pilot’s Hat. Made by the Superior Uniform Cap Company. It is about a size 7 3/8 and is brown in color. It is in pretty good condition considering it has been worn on numerous flights. The visor is good with no cracks. In fact it is made so that it will not crack. It was patented in 1962 and has the patent number printed on the bottom along with the words: KANT KRACK. The original owner flew for Muse Air, later renamed TranStar Airlines during the 80s. Prior to that he also flew for Braniff and at one time for Continental. I am also selling a couple other vintage pilots’ hats. Buy more than one and pay reduced shipping.
