Description: Another item from Ricky Young, Quality Artifacts, Springfield, Vermont.Unit powers on and all the lights appear to be working.The volume knob is missing its outer cover as shown, and it turns more than one revolution, apparently past the normal max stop position. This results in volume jumping to max when the volume is adjusted too far.The treble knob is out of position in that minimum is currently at halfway on the graduations, and the control rotates 50% past the max position. The knob was probably put on out of position or the control was rotated somehow.I was able to tune into both AM and FM station successfully, and the power LEDs worked as expected on both scales. It is unclear if the signal and tuning meters are working, as they didn't move in the testing.I found that the other functions like loudness, filters, FM mute, equalization controls, stereo/mono, and balance worked to alter the sound, but there is lots of noise and instability in the controls, so Deoxit or similar cleaning and maintenance is needed. You may find more work is needed beyond the above, which is meant to indicate what we discovered in our testing. This receiver is sold for parts or repair.Physical condition is good overall, with some scratches and other normal signs of age and previous use.
