Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. Many people collect Tindeco candy tins. They are in the shape of rectangular pails and have wonderful graphics. This tin was used to sell candy. It is marked on the front and back "Happiness Candy Stores". The graphics show various animals playing sports. The lid shows them racing cars. On the front they are playing tennis. The right side shows baseball. The back shows animals playing with balls and doing handstands. And the left side shows archery. This tin was done in shades of blue including gray blue, dark green, orange, brown, white, and black. The colors are a bit duller/darker than in my pictures. The bottom of the tin is gold, the inside is silver. It is impressed "Tindeco" on the bottom outside of the tin. It is the medium size of the Tindeco lunch pails. It is 6" wide x 4-1/8" deep x 3" tall without the handle up, and just under 5-1/2" tall with the handle up. The lid on this tin is hinged. This tin is from the 1930s and harder to find. This candy tin was well loved. There are many dents, scratches, and scuffs. There is sticker residue on the top right corner of the lid that is best seen in the right light. The litho is still pretty nice. Please see my pictures. They help with the description. My price reflects the condition. I love to consider reasonable offers. Please email with offers or questions. I accept returns for any reason. Please contact me before you open a claim with ebay. Buyer pays return shipping costs unless I missed a condition issue. I love to combine shipping costs if you buy more than one item. Thanks for shopping in my store!!
