Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION Up for sale is a Newly restored Olympia Cremina espresso machine, done in red and black. This machine has been fully dis-assembled and rebuilt with new parts as needed. After the restoration was completed, the pressure-stat was calibrated and about 25 shots were pulled. Everything works great! The boiler was completed taken apart, cleaned, and a replacement brass sleeve was installed to repair some small holes. Food grade silver solder (braze) was used to do this. After new gaskets were installed, the boiler was wrapped in ceramic mineral wool insulation, then covered with aluminum tape. It doesn't look too pretty, but holds up nicely. All of these materials are rated for high temperature. No more asbestos insulation. The wiring was replaced with a new wiring harness from Cerini. A new power cable and water proof cord grip was also installed. The front cover was sand blasted and powder coated black. The back cover (red) is believed to be original and in great shape. The frame was painted black with high temperature rated enamel. An Olympia Express logo was installed on to the steam wand knob, and new MIN/MAX decals installed to show recommended water level. The drip tray was missing, so a plastic 3D printed one is being used. This is also painted with the same black high temperature rated enamel. The grouphead shows signs of wear, but works as it should! The machine comes with a portafilter, double shot basket, and 49mm dosing cup from Etsy.
