Description: Listed is a somewhat vintage (1982) Mattel Barbie Dream Cottage (Mattel item # 4432). The house, itself, which is in very good condition, is complete but includes NO furniture or accessories (except the hard-to-find red dumbwaiter that raises and lowers on one of the white columns and the two flower boxes).There are no cracked or broken pieces with the exception of the thin corner trims (see below) and a broken-off hinge pin on the roof which I have repaired (compare last 2 pictures). All the panes on the doors (all the doors function just fine) are intact and unbroken, even the mailbox (and its lid), light sconces and flower boxes are intact.Some of the white pieces have some yellowing (see pictures). Those thin corner trim pieces that I mentioned earlier have cracks in some of them (see 3rd from last picture). These accent pieces cover the four corners of the house and are missing from most listings since they are very thin and brittle. I would simply leave them off since the house looks fine without them. I will repair them with clear, thick gauge tape as best as possible for you to make the decision.NOTE: The house will be dissembled for shipment in order to reduce the ridiculously high dimensional rates fees that would be triggered if shipped assembled (it is a large house). It is easy to re-assemble and I have labeled some pieces to make it as easy as possible. I can ship it assembled if you prefer but I will need to increase the shipping cost that could be anywhere from $65 to $105 depending on your zip code.If you have time, please take a look at my other items as I will always combine shipping on items if it helps you get a better shipping price.
