Click images to enlarge Description Interesting and obscure piece for the Vancouver historian or early Canucks fan. 1940's era invitation for an event ("melee") honoring the "cavorting" Vancouver Canucks. Held at Crossen Arena 3589 Pine Crescent. The address still exists and is a private residence in Vancouver's Kerrisdale area near King Edward and Arbutus in the same neighborhood as Canuck Place. This is in good condition with some creasing, fold marks and general wear..and some paper on the back from being glued to a scrapbook. The invitation is from the collection of minor leaguer Joe Evans who played for Vancouver teams and the Victoria Cougars from 1945 - 1953. The invitation is addressed to Evans and "Lady Friend".
