Description: This is an antique Chad Valley Hygenic doll made crafted in the early 1900's. Her hair is wavy blonde mohair. Painted features include face, feet & hands over felt. There are cracks/chipping/minor paint loss. Her clothing is all original. Her hat is coming unglued from her head but is still somewhat attached (can be reseated). Her head is still firmly attached as are her arms and legs. Her clothing is stiff and there is age discoloration on the white linen portions. There are some holes in some of the linen where the threads have weakened. These issues have been photographed. She displays well - I have not made any attempts to clean her as I am not a professional. This will be left to the buyer. She measures 9 " tall. She appears to be dressed in garments of the 18th century. Perhaps she is a character doll?
