Vintage 14 Pc Set Jennings Style Greenlee Auger Drill Brace Bits W/ Storage Roll

Description: Vintage Set of 14 Greenlee Russell Jennings Double Twist style super premium Auger bits for Brace, All in excellent condition, they appear only just lightly used and some are unused. The Spurs and screw points are fine. All are the premium and rare style Greenlee Double Twist all the bits have with the same logo. The bits are sizes from No 4 through 16 meaning they are 1/4” all the way to 1” in 1/16” increments, however instead of the number 14 or the 7/8” bit I have included a large Expansive bit for assorted large holes up to 3 inches in diameter. Also included is a small triangular file perfect for sharpening auger bits. The leather/canvas storage roll is also in good condition for it’s age. One of my hobbies has been woodworking, but never had the time to do it as well as would like. A few years ago I became passionate about using vintage hand tools vs. battery or electric powered whenever it made sense to do so. Today my passion still thrives and I enjoy properly oiling/waxing, cleaning or refurbishing, if needed those same vintage woodworking tools. My goal is to place as many of these high quality, made in the USA vintage hand tools back into the hands of today’s craftsmen. I would never “part out” a good tool just for the proceeds. If the tool I have acquired is serviceable I will put it into as good of condition it can be and sell to friends or on eBay. All I am trying to do is receive some compensation for my time and retain enough capital to be able to purchase more tools, some in need of gentle care.
