Size: 30x22 mm - see picture Condition: Handmade using NOS vintage materials -- “New Old Stock”. Not reproduction. NOS materials are old inventory from costume jewelry companies in the 50's that have gone out of business. These were never sold at retail so they are “new” (meaning unused) but “old” because of their age. About my work: I make jewelry using vintage materials, mainly Cameos and Victorian Style Jewelry & Scarabs and Egyptian Revival Style Jewelry. The vintage cameos and jewelry parts that I use were made in the 1950s-60s when costume jewelry was very popular. This trend died down and global competition increased and most jewelry makers went out of business. Their unused stock were bought out by retailers who sell to jewelry makers. This is where I source my materials. I make each design until I run out of jewelry parts. Sometimes I also use new jewelry parts and I always state that in my description. (See pictures) Some cameos are being made in China but these are bad copies. (See pictures)
