Description: Stunning rose quartz squares (I consider these mosaic tiles since they are under 2” square) frame with pieces of marble. Attached is an oval portrait- application is assumed to be glue. I am also assuming the portraits are done in oil. You can see from my images the portraits are cracking. I think this adds such beauty and character. I would estimate these may have been made in the late 1700s to mid 1800s. There appears to be some kind of a newer glue used near the small ‘hooks’. Size is 4.25” x 5” As an interior designer, I had these hanging in a beautiful powder room. I am crazy about these, but must sell due to downsizing next year. Please watch my items as I have thousands of items to list and (sadly) unload. Note also the one is signed “Heriette” in pencil? Amazing!
