Unusual 1950s Aztec Design Mexican Embroidered Tourist Vest Size S/M

Description: This listing is for an Unusual 1950s Aztec Design Mexican Embroidered Tourist Vest Size S/M. Just like the colorful, Mexican Embroidered Tourist Jackets that were made from the 1940s through the 1960s, this beautifully embroidered vest was created during the 1950s by a company called, "Lab-Mex" that specialized in recreating Aztec designs on their jackets, vests, and skirts. This striking vest is made from a cream colored wool felt with a woven cotton border around the neckline, armholes, down the front and around the bottom as well as a border above the bottom of the vest. It features two matching Aztec gods on the front and a very large Aztec god on the back. The great thing about this vest is that the neutral overall cream color as well as the many colors of embroidery allow you to pair this with just about anything. It is in excellent condition with no holes, stains, missing threads or other flaws. I have never seen another vest like this particular design in my 35 years of collecting these jackets and vests. The Cruel Girl shirt and Mexican inlaid necklace are not included. Although this vest would fit a size S/M, please see the measurements, below, to ensure a proper fit as this vest is not returnable.
