Description: The Joint Chiefs of Staff ID badge is worn by Joint Chiefs of Staff that are senior members in the Department of Defense and advise the President, Department of Homeland Security, Secretary of Defense, and the National Security Counsel. It has the enameled shield of the United States superimposed on four gold metal unsheathed swords. There is a continuous scroll that reads "JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF". The beautiful clutch back badge measures approximately 2 ¼ inches tall and slightly over two inches wide. It is made of at least two pieces of silver and gold colored metal with an enameled shield is the center that is attached together with four rivets. I don’t see any hallmarks on the badge.
