May have been given to a player from the series or could have been something that could be purchased by spectator, not sure. Ring is quite large, like a paper weight. Sits on wood base as shown. Base has post to hold ring in place. Ring comes off the post freely. Base has plaque on front that reads Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park May 21, 1988, I assume the date of the Old Timers game at Comiskey. Ring looks like a World Series ring. Made of heavy gold plated metal. Ring has a touch of wear, needs cleaned mainly. Base has a touch of wear as well. Overall, piece grades NM! NICE addition to any baseball/White Sox collection!
