Description: Toroidal Isolation Transformer These are brand new toroidal isolation transformer. These were surplus from a business. These are heavy duty, 12 awg wire. According to the diagram on the side, they have 48 turns of 12 awg on the primary with a center tap, and 48 on the secondary with a center tap (24 turns, center tap, then 24 turns). They come with a mounting plate and two rubber washers. Each one of these weighs 2.5 lbs, 3.5" across, 1.5" tall. I cut one in half with a band saw so you can see the construction- these have a high quality laminated steel core. With the center taps and heavy gauge wire, I imagine that these were designed for a 240-220/120-110v type setup, but I do not have any other info on these transformers- there are no part numbers or other information. I did test one by running 10vac across the primary, and got 10v across the secondary and 5v to the center tap on the secondary. This sale is for 1 transformer. For 1-3 transformers, they can ship in a USPS padded envelope. For up to 10 transformers, pick a medium flat rate box, and for up to 18 a large flat rate box. I can usually work with you if you need to use a different shipper.
