Peterman Company was the main distributor for these perfect copies of the Titanic deck chairs.Titanic deck chairs were designed and built from an actual Titanic chair that was fished out of the North Atlantic.The fisherman who pulled this original chair out of the north Atlantic. He was captain of one of the "body boats' tasked with recovering any Titanic passengers bodies. That chair was disassembled, plans drawn from it and the result are these exact replica chairs. They even have the individual name tag slot in the back of the head rest section of the chair. I have 1 of these perfect ones for sale and another 3 like this, that were left outside and have some cracking in the wood but are still in quite good condition. This one is one of the weathered ones. It was stored outside. It is still spectacular. Shipping is very expensive. I am charging $500 flat fee and it costs me more.
