All are Savile Row pieces. John Demsey is well known in high fashion circles as the president of Ester Lauder. His clothing appetite is voracious. He has so much stuff, he often doesn't wear it all. I've describe three minor issues on the pants in the condition statement. It measures a little athletic. That means the jacket chest fits like a 44 but the belly tapers in slightly to fit like a 43. I'm calling it a 44 but realize there are fit variances. Be sure and check the measurements below for details on fit. Jacket is a 3 button single breasted , fully lined with a center vent and working sleeve buttons (only 2 of the 4). The pants are flat front with welt pockets offset on front. No belt loops and a single back pocket. Adjustable side tabs to help secure fit. Legs are full fitting. Width at hem is 9 1/4". Rise is 12". The fabric is a cashmere/wool blend and it's quite soft so it seems to have a good but of cashmere in it. It's still a year around weight. Color is black. Best representation on color and tone is the one of the sleeve cuff. Sometimes the lighting on some of the others can make it appear lighter than it actually is.
