Thompson valves are the top of the line in the blasting industry, and will last incredibly long due to the available rebuild kits like this. Although it seems pricey, it gives another entire life to your metering valve. This is a true OEM (Real Axxiom / Schmidt) rebuild kit. This kit is the tungsten carbide (TC) version in which BOTH the plunger and sleeve are tungsten carbide. This entire kit also includes everything contained in the replacement seals kit (2152-000-98). This was never opened/and was never used/installed. I do have another auction with just the seal’s replacement kit if you happen to just need the seals. These rebuild kits retail anywhere from $750-$900! You’ll save a ton if you get it here! Also this is original Schmidt Axxion, there are aftermarket cheaper versions out there, but they’re cheap for a reason! Nothing beats the actual rebuild kit from the actual manufacturer, who is also the market leader in blasting metering valves. I no longer have any use for it due to selling my blasting equipment.
