Description: Vintage Blue Boy Thomas Gainsborough 1770 Pre worked Tramme Penelope Cotton Canvas Tapestry Canvas & Wool Yarn Lot Tagged Canvas reads: Four Wives Inc. No. TP 23 / 3202 23" x 32" Made in People's Republic of China 100% Wool in Design 100% Cotton Canvas There are 3 bags of yarn included with this canvas, only 2 bags were tagged with model a number matching the canvas. The 2 marked bags came with intact neatly wound yarn bundles inside. Tags were inside the bags which were stapled closed. I removed them from the original bags for pictures and put them into newer plastic bags since original bags were tatty. Also included was an already open untagged bag of loose used scrap yarns that weren't marked as matching this canvas. The opened bag does not seem to be the same type of yarn like the wound bundles that go with this kit but since I bought them together, I'll be including them just in case they do. I kept the original bags & tags and put them with their yarns inside the newer bags to identify them as they were originally found and packed. The face hands and shoes of the blue boy are already pre worked as well as lots of horizontal yarn outlines going across filling in the design as it goes which I think is called tramme stitching. This does not come with instructions so you will have to be familiar with this type of canvas. The white tag included with one of the yarn bundles reads: First with the finest Needlepoint Tapestry Elegance Luxury Made in the People's Republic of China Distributed by Super Star Needlepoint Inc. New York NY Art No. 684 T 23" x 25" Canvas 100% Cotton Center Design yarn 100% wool Then handwritten in red ink it also says Matching Wool Art 684 T Frame The measurements on the yarn tag contradicts the actual canvas tag. I measured it after seeing the discrepancy and it measures as follows: Canvas measures approximately: 22 1/2" x 31 1/2" Design measures approximately: 17 1/2" x 25 1/2" So, neither really matched on the tags actually but it still is a pretty good-sized canvas. The other baggie has a white hang tag inside that reads: TP 23 / 3202 Matching Wool 1 - bundle There's also a yellow piece of tape on the bag that reads: TP 23 / 3202 This kit is a preowned item that was purchased by me from an estate sale years ago so I only know what I can see as shown or tagged in pictures. I do not know actual details of what all came with it originally and am merely assuming it is all here in the 2 marked bags and possibly the third unmarked bag. My guess is that the 3rd unmarked bag does not actually go to this but since I'm not 100% sure I'm sending it along just in case it does.
