This 52 page soft-cover magazine measures approximately 10 by 11.375 inches in size. It has color pictorial paper wrappers, and the cover depicts a drag queen dressed as Dorothy holding Toto in a basket, surrounded by a Cowardly Lion "bear", a Tin Man "slave", a Scarecrow "twink", and a Winged Monkey. Below all of this is a straight couple on the Yellow Brick Road, holding on to each other in fear. Mark Putenis is the artist who created the image, and his credit photograph shows him dressed up as the Scarecrow. The magazine is Volume 9, Issue 23, and was published by Dig Publishing, LLC., of Boston, Massachusetts, in 2007. The "Weekly Dig", also referred to as "The Dig" and "Dig Boston" was an alternative newspaper published in Boston, and this issue is definitely for the Wizard of Oz collector who must have one of everything Oz related.The magazine is in great vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages, and hardly any soiling and wear.
