Description: The Second Jungle Book 1897? 1900? The Century Co. Condition descriptions are subjective and I'm not a book dealer or grader. I just try to take good honest pictures that describe the book better than I can with words, though I have picked up a few along the way. There is a name sticker on the inside. The pastedowns and endsheets are intact. The spine is only slightly faded. The symbol over Kipling's name in the last photo pre-dates WWII-era use. I have not used any photo enhancement tools on these pictures. Very good antique condition. Condition commensurate with age/storage/handling/use. The pictures are part of my description.
