Description: Original c1700 framed print of The Right Honourable Lady Elizabeth Cromwell (1674-1709) Framed 14.5 x 10.75" approx Portrait of Elizabeth Southwell (née Cromwell), Lady Cromwell (1674-1709), daughter of Vere Essex Cromwell, 7th Baron Cromwell and 4th Earl of Ardglass. Her husband Edward Southwell was Member of Parliament for Kinsale and Principal Secretary of State for Ireland. Copies of this engraving are in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London. This is based on a portrait by Sir Godfrey Kneller, who later painted her as St. Cecilia.
