The Planets is a collection of decks representing the planets in our solar system, starting closest to the Sun and moving outwards into the surrounding universe. The sixth deck of this series is Saturn. Saturn is considered to rule Capricorn, which is symbolized by the goat, hence the goat-like beings represented in the Saturn court cards. The Jacks allude to Saturn, and its Greek counterpart Cronus, being associated with the passing of time and relevance to the harvest seasons. Notice that the hats worn by the Jacks are shaped like the planet itself. Look closely and you'll find other symbolism woven into the illustrations of the courts. This deck is part of the most luxurious Vanda deck series to date. The illustrations were all done by Srdjan Vidakovic, a graphic designer better known as Widakk. Each planet features a different race of alien beings drawn in a consistent artistic style. The tuck boxes were printed by the artisans at Clove St. Press, while the cards were printed by the USPCC for guaranteed quality. The tuck boxes are embossed with various holographic foils, as well as interior foil. Each deck also comes with a "map card" that, when combined with the others, forms a map of various constellations.
