For me, this plate is a different sort of listing than most of the others in that it reminds me of my grandparents. My grandparents loved to travel and had great fun along the way collecting souvenir plates featuring artwork from the different places they visited. My Grandma Margaret had all of them neatly displayed around their kitchen and dining room. My Grandpa Henry enjoyed helping her find them and the collection was a bit like a travel photo album for them - a way to reminisce.
