Description: ANOTHER FANTASTIC ANTIQUE ROLEX WATCH FIND FROM TIMEISPRECIOUS!!!. A RARE AND BEAUTIFUL 1922 LADY'S ROLEX 9CT SOLID YELLOW GOLD ART DECO WATCH. WITH A LARGE 3 PIECE CASE AND SOLID 9CT GOLD BAND. IN STUNNING CONDITION WITH A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL DIAL. THIS IS A RARE PIECE AS THE WATCH CASE IS STAMPED ‘W&D’ (WILSDORF AND DAVIS WHO WERE THE FOUNDERS OF THE ROLEX BRAND). I AM A 100% POSITIVE EBAY SELLER SINCE 2002-PLEASE BID/BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!! CASE: This is an absolutely beautiful and rare 3 piece genuine ROLEX square double hinged solid 9CT yellow gold SQUARED watch case. The case front itself is as big as a small man’s watch of the period and sits really well on the wrist. It is good quality gold and not 'onion skin' gold as some watches of this era were. It shows the true quality of the ROLEX product. The case is in EXCELLENT condition. The case front looks stunning and has a fabulous filigree engraved Deco design all around it. It shows only very light wear and tear marks. The case back is also in excellent condition and only shows some very light marks with one central light scratch which runs from edge to edge but can easily be polished out) and NO noticeable dings. The case sides are excellent showing no undue wear. The hinges are good on both the front and the rear of the case. The solid 9 carat gold lugs are in good condition. The inside of the case is beautifully engraved with the rarer wording ‘W&D’(Wilsdorf and Davies founders of the Rolex watch Co) It is fully hallmarked for solid 9 carat gold and fully assayed with the stamp for London 1922. The case, measures a large 2.5cms (25mm) in diameter. DIAL: This is a wonderful white FULLY ROLEX SIGNED dial. The dial is in EXCELLENT condition, and AS A SIGN OF ITS QUALITY HAS APPLIED GOLD ARABIC NUMERALS. All of the numerals are nice and sharp. The dial is signed by Rolex (see photos). The dial has a lovely gold enamel ‘dotted’ minute track around its outside. The dial has 2 fantastic ‘pointer’ design very rare GOLDEN steel hands which look to be in good condition. I have replaced the crystal as it was badly marked with a brand new plexi crystal which is in excellent condition showing no undue wear. MOVEMENT: This is a wonderful clean genuine ROLEX FULLY SIGNED high grade quality 15 jeweled manual wind movement. It is fully signed, and is engraved with the wording 'ROLEX' and ‘Swiss made’ in a beautiful typesetting. This fantastic ROLEX movement has been serviced, is in good working order and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps good time within approx. 30 secs per day. The crown is gold in color and seems to be original to the piece. All in all this is a beautiful ROLEX original movement. BAND: There is a lovely solid 9 carat gold expanding sprung original band fitted to this stunning wrist watch. It is marked '9ct' showing that it is solid 9ct gold. It compliments this watch absolutely superbly. When fully extended it will fit around an 8 and ¾ inch wrist and is 5 and ¾ inches when not expanded.
