It is set in the mid-1800s of Scotland. It is the story of three generations in the lives of a Scottish aristocratic family. This is a boxed set from the mid-1980’s with all three original titles in trade paperback format. All are in excellent condition, with only the first book appearing to be read. The other two books are like-new. The box has slight handling wear, with details noted below. The pages are pristine, with no soiling, tears, creases, or odors. The bindings are sturdy and sound. The spines on two of the books are uncreased, with a little creasing on the first book. The covers are excellent with shiny, unscratched surfaces. The pages are slightly toned, as are most books from this era. The box itself is very good with just a little rubbing/scuffing on the surfaces. (Please see photos for details.) All books are wrapped and packed carefully in cardboard to ensure their safe arrival.____________________________________Okay, here are all those pesky little details: Payment:I ask that you pay within 3 days. I assure you I will take great care when I pack up your items. I've never had any damages yet! I go to the Post Office almost every day, so you can be sure that your item will be packed up and on its way to you either the same day or by the end of the next business day.
