Star Wars / Hasbro OTC Stormtrooper Press Kit with Materials (Read Description)

Description: This is the very rare Star Wars Original Trilogy Collection press kit that Hasbro released in 2004 (the year before the Anakin / Vader press kit). This is an original kit with replicas of the press materials. What does that mean? Basically, I found a kit with the original press materials, scanned them and printed them to include with the kit. The only difference between the original materials and replica materials is that the Mr. Potato Head watermark is not visible in these scans (on the first page of the press release and the first page of the timeline). According to Jedi Business, "The beautifully vintage-inspired design houses a Stormtrooper action figure on one side, and when unfolded, reveals the official press release for the Original Trilogy Collection toy line on the other. In addition to the press release Hasbro also included a brief history of the Star Wars action figure toy line from 1977 - 2004. "The word RARE is over-used when it comes to Star Wars action figures, but in this case, this set is truly rare. Here is more information from toy expert Bob Friedland, who at the time worked at marketing firm Bratskeir & Company, which was responsible for mailing the kits out: "The kit is very rare, only 500 kits were produced. Out of that about 75 were sent to media and 300 were pulped, leaving about 150 total in circulation in 2016."
