Better than bushings, but some modification maybe required Rated by Narly on November 02, 2018 Summary: Once the installation was complete, the spindles turn as smooth as butter. However there are a couple of challenges in the installation. First, take your time installing the needle bearings. One mishit and you are buying a new bearing like I did. Second, you might have to modify the king pin to get the notch to line up with the hole in the axle... like I did. Check photo. Lastly, installing the grease zerks was a pain. The threads are too short on the standard zerk included in the kit. I found some adapters at the local parts store that were longer and allowed a secure attachment of the zerk. (amazing what 1/8" can do) Cons: Some modification was required for installation Pros: Butter smooth turning Yes, I recommend this product. Much easier to steer. I would recommend this kit.
